Look out for double meanings and play on words. Some lines say several
different things. Decide which one you want to emphasize.

What's A Monologue?
Monologues:
A “monologue” is a speech spoken by one person who exposes inner
thoughts and provides insights into his or her character. For our
purposes, you may select a monologue from a play, movie, or book, or
recite your favorite children’s story or poem. The purpose of a
monologue is to show a range of expression and honest emotion.
