Brief History of The New Blue Parrot Productions:
• Originated in 1983 under the direction of Patrick Webb
• Obtained 501c(3) status in 1993
• Re-organized in 2004 under the direction of Tony Bump and returned to East Clark County
• Also in 2004, established The Blue Parrot Children's Theatre under the artistic direction of Jennifer Johnson
• In 2006, expanded to include The SouthWest Washington Wind Symphony in 2006 under the leadership of Rich Carr
• Between 2004-2006, produced 7 theatrical runs at Washburn Performing Arts Center in Washougal and 4 symphony performances at Mountain View High School, Vancouver
• Established relationship with Washougal Education and Recreation in 2006
• Established relationship with Evergreen Community Education in 2007
